  I have been going to 9 rounds for about 3 months and I lost 18lbs ( 188->170lbs). I've been doing martial arts for 20+ years and got tired of all the Mcdojos (promoting belts just because you're there instead of knowledge) charging $125+ for one or two times a week just to stand around doing some moves, taking a lot of hits, and watching the instructor talk while not breaking a sweat. After successfully defending myself at a well known store parking lot, I realized that being in shape could have played a major role if it went longer than it did (
